Introduction
Our trip to the beautiful islands of Moyo and Satonda is spread over 5 nights and 6 days. This amount of time allows us to cruise along the empty Lombok and Sumbawa coastlines by day and sleep on our own deserted beaches by night.
Moyo island offers something for everyone, there are two waterfalls, reached by walking through a small traditional village and along a beautiful path into the island. Moyo is also home to two reserves, one is Moyo Hunting Reserve, home to barking deer, wild pig and macaques. The Marine Park off Moyo insures some great reef diving where turtles and sharks can be seen and a small Japanese wreck for a relaxing wreck dive.
Satonda Island is a small uninhabited volcanic island with a salt water lake in its crater, a stunning beach, great diving and a colony of fruit bats that leave the island on mass every evening for their nightly hunt which is a truly spectacular sight.
Itinerary
Day 1
We depart Gili Trawangan in the early morning and arrive at lomboks North east Gili Island in the afternoon. The rest of the afternoon can be spent relaxing, snorkling or exploring.
Day 2, Day 3, Day 4
We Spend arround Moyo, Medang and Satonda where you can dive reefs or a Japanese wreck, relax, visit waterfalls or avolcano.
Day 5
We will head back to Lombok for our final evening and a beach party before spending our last day relaxing onboard while we return to Gili Trawangan.
